I am currently a junior in the Health Promotion and Education Program at the University of Cincinnati. My focus is public and community health. I chose Health Promotion and Education as I am passionate about empowering individuals and communities to take control of their health through education, preventive care, and equitable access to resources. In the past, I interned with the epidemiology department at Franklin County Public Health, where in I performed epidemiological analysis on numerous diseases in Franklin County (legionnaire's disease, pneumonia, monkeypox), as well as help develop and institute strategic interventions to prevent the spread of COVID-19. In the summer of 2025, I will become a Certified Medical Assistant, and through this I hope to become a more effective and empathetic healthcare provider by gaining firsthand clinical experience.

Upon graduation, I will be applying to MD/MPH programs, where I can develop my skill set as both a public health professional and community-oriented physician equipped to address health disparities at both an individual and systemic level.
